FDNY: Two workers rescued after getting stuck on scaffolding hanging from midtown Manhattan skyscraper

Firefighters pulled them through a window.

A pair of workers were rescued after their scaffolding got stuck 22 stories in the air in midtown Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Firefighters were working to get them down from the scaffold hanging off 420 Fifth Ave., between 36th and 27th streets, after getting a call about 2 p.m.
