Albertine, New York’s only bookshop in New York devoted solely to books in French and English, hosts its second annual Festival Albertine, Nov. 5-9. The festival’s highlights include a discussion about the future of journalism that features David Remnick, editor of the New Yorker (Nov. 8, 5 p.m.); a discussion about dance featuring legendary choreographer Yvonne Rainer (Nov. 8, 3 p.m.); a look at the explosive growth of coming of age graphic novels (Nov. 6, 7 p.m.) featuring Phoebe Gloeckner (“The Diary of a Teenage Girl”); and a panel exploring whether women are still “the second sex” (Nov. 7, 6:30 p.m.), with Pulitzer Prize-winning critic and author Margo Jefferson (“Negroland”) and author Katie Roiphe (“The Morning After: Fear, Sex and Feminism”). 972 Fifth Ave. at 79th St. All events are free.
