Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, City Councilmember Alan Gerson and the United Jewish Council dedicated a new street sign last Friday at the corner of Cherry St. and the F.D.R. Drive, co-naming it Firefighter Robert Foti Way. Foti, a resident of the Lower Eaast Side, died while responding to the World Trade Center attacks on Spt. 11, 2001.
