The city Parks Department is offering their free “Learn to Swim Program” this fall at the Tony Dapolito Recreation Center, 1 Clarkson St. and 7th Ave. South.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and lasts until noon on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14. It’s free and based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Classes will be every Saturday from Oct. 21 through Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. till 2:45 p.m. with different age groups having separate lessons within that period (specific times are yet to be determined).
Classes will range from toddlers aged 3-5, children aged 6-14, and adults of all ages.
