German surveillance firm moves Downtown

Mobotix surveillance video cameras are positioned all over the world, where they watch over the Everglades, the Hoover Dam, gold mines of South Africa, international ports and parts of Lower Manhattan. Last month, the Germany based Mobotix IP moved into an office Downtown on Fulton St.

“The announcement of Mobotix’s new U.S. headquarters in Lower Manhattan is further evidence that Downtown is back and a great place to do business,” Governor George Pataki said in a statement. “I commend Mobotix on its decision that will help us make New York prouder, stronger and better than ever.”

State and city officials are expected to join Mobotix July 25 to celebrate the new office at 40 Fulton St. A representative from the German American Chamber of Commerce will also attend.
