Holiday spirits

Outside Odessa restaurant on Avenue A, Marlene Bailey, a.k.a. “Hot Dog,” left, and two friends got into the holiday spirit with a menorah and a Christmas hat. After a lengthy absence, Bailey recently returned to the East Village. In one of her most infamous past acts, she once slammed a set of sidewalk vault doors on the head of Ray Alvarez, owner of Ray’s Candy Store, knocking him out.
