Ninth Police Precinct Community Council: Wed., Dec. 17, 7 p.m., Ninth Precinct stationhouse, 321 E. Fifth St., second floor. Hear local precinct officers give reports on crime and police activities and answer questions from the public.
Ninth Precinct Community Council Children’s Toy Giveaway: Sat., Dec. 13, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the schoolyard opposite the Ninth Precinct. Children must be accompanied by a parent to receive a gift from Santa.
