Jim Power, the East Village’s “Mosaic Man,” with Jesse Jane, took advantage of the recent warm weather to chalk the address of his Web site on the sidewalk, above. Meanwhile, on Greene St. just below Houston St., a lone forsythia was in bud and bloom, below. Over on Sixth Ave. near Eighth St., among his newly sprung spring offerings, a book vendor was hawking quite a find, a Barbie and Midge doll case, along with a bunch of Barbies and Midges, sans their finery.
