Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in a Brooklyn public housing complex early Friday morning.
According to law enforcement sources, the deadly incident occurred just after midnight on July 12 at the NYCHA Albany Houses, located at 1400 Bergen St. in Crown Heights.
Officers from the 77 Precinct and PSA 2 responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at the address. When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Dyseem Jackson of 193 Albany Ave., Brooklyn, shot multiple times in the head.
EMS responded and pronounced Jackson dead at the scene.
Police could not yet confirm a motive or possible suspect (s) as the investigation is still in its early stages.
So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing.
