Cops are looking for a suspect who punched a man for no apparent reason in the Financial District last month.
Police say that at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 10, a 60-year-old man was walking in front of 161 William Street when an unknown man, who was walking in front of him, turned around and punched the victim in the face in an unprovoked attack. The victim then fell to the ground and was briefly knocked unconscious.
The suspect then fled the scene to parts unknown. The victim was later transported to New York Downtown Hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD released photos of the suspect taken from surveillance footage at the incident location. He is described by police as a man in his 20s with a dark complexion and a thin build who was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers with blue trim.
