Police said the victim suffered slash wounds to the neck and hand while standing on the downtown No. 6 train platform on Bleecker Street around 3:30 a.m. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center in stable condition, police said. recommended reading Major crime in NYC by borough So far, no arrests have been made, according to authorities. Police said the circumstances surrounding the slashing are still under investigation. As a result of the incident, the MTA said southbound 6 trains are bypassing Bleecker Street.
