NYC photos from the Great Depression

Newly released photos will take you back in time to a Depression-era New York City.

Yale University posted images online — provided by the Farm Security Administration-Office of War Information — which show an iconic New York City during the 1930s.

Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans, and Arthur Rothstein are among the photographers whose images are included in the tens of thousands of pictures.
