NYPD 9/11 memorial procession in lower Manhattan: See photos

The NYPD on Friday commemorated the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center.

The Emerald Society Pipes & Drums led a procession through lower Manhattan to the Battery Park Police Memorial. The memorial wall bears the names of NYPD members who died in the line of duty, including the 23 killed on Sept. 11, 2001.
