Peglegs leg it up to Pier 40

Formerly a squad without a playing field, the Stuyvesant High School football team finally has one at Pier 40 at W. Houston St. where a new artificial-surface FieldTurf field opened earlier this year. Above, the players ran up the Hudson River Park esplanade from their elite school at Chambers St. to the new field in the former shipping pier’s courtyard.
