Mugged near Pace

A woman was assaulted and robbed by three females and an undisclosed number of male accomplices at about 3 p.m. Tues. Jan. 17 near Pace Plaza while she was walking to the Brooklyn Bridge subway station, police said.

The victim told police that three of the robbers, described only as Hispanic women, grabbed her by the jacket and punched her in the face while their male accomplices held her down. The robbers made off with the victim’s cell phone.

Missing from bag

A woman who left her bag on an armrest in the Embassy Suites hotel lobby in Battery Park City on Wednesday evening, Jan. 18 discovered that all of her credit cards and $58 in cash were missing from the bag when she checked it at 9 p.m., police said.

City Hall pickpocket

A thief made off with a wallet containing $23 and several credit cards from a woman’s handbag while the victim was at the corner of Park Row and Beekman St. across from City Hall Park, police said.

Motorcycle theft

A man who parked his motorcycle at West St. and Rector Pl. on Saturday afternoon Jan. 7 returned at 2 p.m. and found it missing, police said.

Bicycle thief

A man who locked his bicycle to a pole at N. Moore and Greenwich Sts. on Monday afternoon Jan. 16 returned at 8 p.m. to find the lock had been cut and the bike, valued at $2,800, stolen, police said.

Credit card stolen

A woman told police that a thief removed her wallet from her bag while she was in a bakery at 135 Sullivan St. in Soho on Wednesday afternoon Jan. 18. The victim later learned that $500 in unauthorized charges had been made on one of her credit cards, police said.
