Police in Queens are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck and critically injured a pedestrian early on Monday morning.

Law enforcement sources said the incident happened at about 4:50 a.m. on Nov. 21 at the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and 91st Avenue in Woodhaven.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct, in responding to a 911 call, found the pedestrian victim, a 54-year-old woman, at the scene with severe injuries.

EMS rushed her to Jamaica Hospital, where she’s listed in critical condition, police sources said.

According to reports on the Citizen app, the victim was hit as she attempted to cross Woodhaven Boulevard by a gray sedan traveling northbound on the wide roadway. Police sources, however, could not immediately confirm the direction in which the driver was heading, nor if the victim was walking through the crosswalk.

Following the collision, Citizen reported, the driver and vehicle fled the scene, continuing northbound on Woodhaven Boulevard.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is still investigating the case, police sources said.
