News Reports: American Airlines flight experiences turbulence, causing injuries By John Valenti email@example.com January 15, 2016 1:46 PM Print Share fbShare Tweet gShare Email An American Airlines Boeing 737 that departed from LaGuardia Airport on Friday morning landed safely at Miami International Airport after its crew reported hitting turbulence over Florida, the Federal Aviation Administration said. Several passengers sustained minor injuries, according to multiple news reports. Asked about injuries, the FAA referred questions to American Airlines, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the incident. The FAA said the jet, Flight 1410, was over Vero Beach, Florida, at an altitude of about 34,000 feet, when the turbulence was reported. The flight landed in Miami at 11:30 a.m. It was not immediately clear how many passengers and crew were aboard the flight.
