At Saturday’s 10th annual Tribeca Film Festival Family Street Fair, Julie Menin (with microphone), chair of C.B. 1, was joined by numerous elected officials including Manhattan Borough Pres. Scott Stringer and State Assembly Member Deborah Glick to help register voters that are new to the neighborhood.
“It was a very successful event,” said Menin. “There was terrific enthusiasm and we registered a lot of voters. Most importantly, it highlighted the message that the 30,000 new Lower Manhattan residents should become involved and register to vote.”
