Hundreds of scarves will be handed out on Wednesday afternoon in Bryant Park so those in need can stay warm this winter.

At 12 p.m. on Feb. 3, the Bryant Park Corporation will hand out over 600 scarves for New Yorkers in need as a part of its ‘Found but Not Lost’ program, which has produced thousands of scarves over the past 17 years.

The event is being held in conjunction with Knitty City, a yarn emporium in the Upper West Side. The scarves were knitted by volunteers taking Bryant Park’s summertime knitting classes.

The scarves will be distributed at the corner of 6th Avenue and 41st Street at the statue of Gertrude Stein near the back of the New York Public Library. An array of scarves will be on display during the event.
