Susan Cline, 46, was a lifelong Villager

Susan Cline, 46, a lifelong Villager and wife of Raymond Cline, a past president of the Village Reform Democratic Club, died on July 7 at Beth Israel Hospital. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer, with which she had been diagnosed three years ago.

She was born to Edna and Leonard Sydelman and grew up on Charlton St. Her family moved into 505 LaGuardia Pl. when she was 8. She attended the Little Red Schoolhouse and P.S. 41. Her father became president of Community School Board 2. She married Ray Cline, a developer, in 1988. She was a fundraiser and special-events organizer.

Susan Cline is survived by her husband, a 10-year-old daughter, Jennifer, and her mother. A memorial service will be held Thurs., July 15, at Gilda’s Club, 195 W. Houston St., 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Gilda’s Club, an organization assisting cancer patients and their families.
