Suspect sought for firing at man outside of East Village bar

The NYPD is looking for a suspect that shot a man in front of an East Village bar this week.

According to police, at 11:11 p.m. on Aug. 9, an unknown man approached another man n front Ace Bar, located at 531 East 5th Street, and pulled out a firearm. The suspect fired the gun one time, striking the façade of the building.

The victim was not injured and fled the scene without meeting with police.
