Juliette Kessler, 10, sold toys and games in Washington Market Park Saturday to support John Kerry’s presidential campaign. Kessler, a fifth grade student at P.S. 234 in Tribeca, said she made $97, with some people giving more than she asked for and others telling her to keep the change. In e-mails to The Villager, Kessler said she raised “a lot more than I thought I would. My parents made a credit card contribution [for $100] on the Kids for Kerry Web site so they can get it right away because there’s not much time left! … I believe that this is very important and that even if I’m not old enough to vote, I am old enough to do something to help.”
