’Tis the season

Last Tuesday, the Washington Square Association, joined by Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe, held their annual tree-lighting ceremony in Washington Square, and the result, as seen above, was spectacular. On Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, there will be carol singing under the arch starting at 5 p.m., led by the Rob Susman Brass Quartet, with free songbooks distributed compliments of the Washington Square Association.
