Two men die of injuries after double shooting in Brooklyn restaurant: NYPD

Two men died of their injuries after they were shot in a Brooklyn restaurant last week.

According to police, at 8:52 a.m. on Oct. 27 officers from the 73rd Precinct responded to a call regarding two men shot inside Miguel’s West Indian Restaurant, located at 2315 Strauss Street. Upon their arrival, cops found 46-year-old Eyon Johnson and 45-year-old Damien White, both unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies.

Johnson was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead later that day. Though initially in critical condition at Kings County Hospital, White ultimately died of his injuries on Oct. 30. The incident has since been ruled a double homicide.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
