Villagers win prizes at outdoor art exhibit

John Dorish of 220 W. 13th St. won the Graphic Displays Systems Award for his etching “Blue Moon” at the Washington Sq. Outdoor Art Exhibit, the world’s largest outdoor art show. Also in the Graphics category, the Gloria and Irving Horowitz Award was given to Emily Trueblood of 20 E. Ninth St. for her woodcut “City Winter.” Both works will be displayed on University Pl. as part of the art show, which wraps up this weekend, Sept. 6-7.
