Yadira Arroyo wake in the Bronx: Photos from services for FDNY EMT

A wake was held Thursday for Yadira Arroyo, the FDNY EMT who was struck and killed by her own ambulance after the vehicle was stolen on March 16, 2017.

Arroyo was a mother of five and served with the fire department for 14 years. The day after her death, Arroyo’s colleagues at EMS Station House 26 remembered her as dedicated civil servant who loved her children.

Services at the Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home in the Bronx will also be held in two sessions on Friday: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
