West Side rejoice: 7 train service extends further than any other MTA train in midtown

The $2.42 billion, 1.5-mile extension of the 7 Line to 34th Street-11th Avenue is the only line south of 59th Street to provide service west of Ninth Avenue. It offers access to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, the High Line and Hudson River Park.

The No. 7 train started running to Hudson Yards on Sunday, the only line south of 59 Street to provide service west of Ninth Avenue, offering access to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, the High Line and Hudson River Park.
