A 17-year-old boy was shot in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, police reported.
Law enforcement sources said the gunfire erupted near the Brooklyn Collegiate Preparatory High School, located at 2021 Bergen St. in Brownsville, at about 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 4.
Officers from the 73rd Precinct, in responding to a call about the shooting, found the young victim with a gunshot wound to his left leg. EMS rushed the boy to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.

Based on a preliminary investigation, police learned from school safety agents that the youngster had been shot at another location near the school, and ran into the location for assistance.
Police sources said two suspects are currently at large in connection with the shooting. No arrests have yet been made in the ongoing investigation.
