A subsequent investigation by police found that at 8:45 p.m. the previous night, an unknown man was caught on surveillance footage entering the synagogue though a secured side window. Once inside, the suspect took electronics, valued at $400, and fled on foot to parts unknown.

Police released a photo of the suspect taken from the scene. He is described as a Hispanic man between 25 and 35 years old and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
