Academy Award winner Henry Fonda had many ties to New York City, including his start as a Broadway actor.
In 1949, the “War and Peace” star bought a six-story townhouse located at 151 E. 74th St. ahead of his Broadway run as Charles Gray in “Point of No Return,” according to real estate firm Leslie J. Garfield.
The Upper East Side home was also the site of Fonda’s wedding to Afdera Franchetti in 1957.
Now, the 5,400-square-foot townhouse is up for sale for $12.45 million, according to Leslie J. Garfield.
