The Downtown Alliance continues to take you inside the kitchens of your favorite Lower Manhattan restaurants with “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking At Home,” and a special holiday edition is headed to Seamore’s at Brookfield Place on Thursday, Dec. 17.

Hosted by award-winning chef Rocco DiSpirito, “Dine Around Downtown” features chefs from the neighborhood who cook up signature recipes and share tips for crafting everything from complex gastronomic delights to staple comfort foods. It’s free to sign up and participate, and any donations go to a good cause — either directly to the restaurant’s employee-relief funds or to a food security charity of the restaurant’s choice.

This is the final episode to air via Zoom in 2020, following episodes that have included the likes of Gnoccheria, Taïm, Temple Court, Benares and Casa Taqueria. Register to learn how to make festive meals with Seamore’s executive chef Rob Eggleston at DowntownNY.com/DineAround.

Participants are encouraged to make the dishes themselves and post photos of their plates on Instagram, tagging #DineAroundAtHome and @downtownnyc for a chance to win a personal 30-minute cooking class with the featured chef.
