DEAL: The Twins agree to a four-year, $55 million deal with Ervin Santana. Santana, 31, has a 4.17 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 10 seasons with the Angels, Royals and Braves. The righthander had a 3.95 ERA in 31 starts with the Braves in 2014. DEAL: The Cardinals agree to a one-year deal with infielder Mark Reynolds. Reynolds, 31, is a .229 hitter with a .324 OBP and 224 home runs in eight seasons with the Diamondbacks, Orioles, Indians, Yankees and Brewers. He batted .196 with a .287 OBP and 22 home runs in 130 games for the Brewers in 2014. DEAL: The Marlins trade lefthanded pitcher Dan Jennings (pictured) to the White Sox for righthanded pitcher Andre Rienzo. Jennings, 27, had a 1.34 ERA in 47 appearances for the Marlins in 2014. Rienzo, 25, had a 6.82 ERA in 18 games (11 starts) for the White Sox in 2014. DEAL: The Royals agree to a two-year, $17 million deal with first baseman/designated hitter Kendrys Morales. Morales, 31, is a .271 hitter with a .324 OBP and 110 home runs in eight seasons with the Angels, Mariners and Twins. He hit .218 with a .274 OBP and eight home runs in 98 games for the Twins and Mariners in 2014. DEAL: Red Sox agree to one-year deal with pitcher Justin Masterson. Masterson, 29, has a 4.24 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in seven seasons with the Red Sox, Indians and Cardinals. The righthander had a 5.88 ERA in 28 games (25 starts) for the Indians and Cardinals in 2014. DEAL: Reds trade pitcher Alfredo Simon (pictured) to the Tigers for shortstop Eugenio Suarez and pitcher Jonathon Crawford. Simon, a 33-year-old, righthander, has a 3.86 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 209 games (51 starts) with the Orioles and Reds. Suarez, 23, hit .242 with a .316 OBP and four home runs in 85 games in 2014. Crawford, a 23-year-old righthander, has a 2.73 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in two minor league seasons. DEAL: Reds trade pitcher Mat Latos (pictured) to the Marlins for pitcher Anthony DeSclafani and catcher Chad Wallach. Latos, a 27-year-old righthander, has a 3.34 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in six seasons with the Padres and Reds. DeSclafani, a 24-year-old righthander, had a 3.23 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in three minor league seasons. Wallach, 23, has hit .293 with a .392 OBP and seven home runs in two minor league seasons. DEAL: Mets agree to one-year, $1.45-million deal with outfielder John Mayberry Jr. Mayberry, 30, is a career .241 hitter with a .305 OBP and 53 home runs in six seasons with the Phillies and Blue Jays. Mayberry has a lifetime .857 OPS vs. lefthanded pitchers. The move allows the Mets to play outfielder Michael Cuddyer at first base in place of Lucas Duda when a southpaw is starting for the opposing team. DEAL: Red Sox trade outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (pictured) and pitchers Alex Wilson and and Gabe Speier to the Tigers for pitcher Rick Porcello. Cespedes is a career .263 hitter with a .316 on-base percentage. He has serious power, slugging .464 during his first three MLB seasons. Porcello, a 25-year-old groundballing righthander, had a 3.43 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 204.2 innings in 2014. Wilson had a 1.91 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in 18 games in 2014. Speier, a 19-year-old righthander, has a 1.64 ERA and 0.87 WHIP in two minor league seasons. DEAL: Dodgers trade outfielder Matt Kemp (pictured) and catcher Tim Federowicz to the Padres for catcher Yasmani Grandal and pitcher Joe Wieland. Pitching prospect Zach Eflin also is rumored to be heading to Los Angeles. Kemp, 30,returned from injury last season and returned to his MVP-caliber offensive production, batting .287 with a .346 OBP and .506 slugging percentage (25 home runs). His defense, even in a corner spot, is questionable at best. Federowicz is a .194 hitter in 89 games. Grandal, 25, is a career .245 hitter with a .350 OBP and hit 15 home runs in just 377 at-bats in 2014. Wieland, a 24-year-old righthander, has a 3.27 ERA in six minor league seasons. Eflin, 20, hasn't yet reached Double-A. DEAL: Diamondbacks trade pitcher Wade Miley (pictured) to the Red Sox for pitchers Rubby De La Rosa and Allen Webster and another minor leaguer. Miley, a 28-year-old lefthander, has a 3.79 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in four seasons. De La Rosa, 25, and Webster, 24, have combined for just 63 career appearances (47 starts). DEAL: Angels trade second basemen Howie Kendrick (pictured) to Dodgers for pitching prospect Andrew Heaney. Kendrick is a .292 hitter with a .332 OBP and 78 home runs in nine seasons. Heaney, a 23-year-old lefthander, had a 2.77 ERA in three minor league seasons and struck out 262 in 259.2 innings. DEAL: Dodgers trade second baseman Dee Gordon (pictured), pitcher Dan Haren, infielder Miguel Rojas and a player to be named later to the Marlins for pitching prospect Andrew Heaney, second baseman Enrique Hernandez, reliever Chris Hatcher and catching prospect Austin Barnes. Gordon has a career .314 OBP and has stolen 130 bases in four seasons. He led the NL with 64 steals in 2014. Haren, 34, has a 3.77 ERA in 12 seasons. The righthander had a 4.02 ERA in 32 starts for the Dodgers in 2014. Rojas has experience at every infield position. Hernandez had a .742 OPS in 42 games with the Astros and Marlins in 2014. Hatcher, a righthander, had a 3.38 ERA and 9.6 strikeouts per nine innings in 52 games in 2014. Barnes is a .298 hitter with a .390 OBP in four minor league seasons. Heaney was later traded to the Angels for second baseman Howie Kendrick. DEAL: Rockies trade infielder Josh Rutledge (pictured) to the Angels for pitcher Jairo Diaz. Rutledge, 25, hit .269 with a .323 OBP in 2014. He has experience at shortstop, second base and third base. Diaz, a 23-year-old righthander, had a 3.48 ERA at two minor league levels in 2014. DEAL: Dodgers agree to four-year, $48 million deal with pitcher Brandon McCarthy. McCarthy, a 31-year-old righthander, had a 4.05 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 32 games with the Diamondbacks and Yankees in 2014. DEAL: Phillies trade shortstop Jimmy Rollins (pictured) to the Dodgers for an unknown minor league package. Rollins, 36, was a three-time All-Star, four-time Gold Glove winner and the 2007 NL MVP in 15 seasons with Philadelphia. He batted .243 with a .323 OBP and 17 home runs in 2014. DEAL: Phillies trade reliever Antonio Bastardo (pictured) to the Pirates for pitcher Joely Rodriguez. Bastardo, a 29-year-old lefthander, has a 3.72 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in six seasons. Rodriguez, a 22-year-old lefthander, has a 4.02 ERA in six minor league seasons. DEAL: Astros sign reliever Pat Neshek to two-year, $12.5 million deal. Neshek, a 34-year-old righthander, had a 1.87 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in 71 games with the Cardinals in 2014. DEAL: Astros sign reliever Luke Gregerson to three-year, $18.5 million deal. Gregerson, a 30-year-old righthander, had a 2.12 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 72 games with the Athletics in 2014. DEAL: Cubs sign pitcher Jon Lester to six-year, $155 million deal. Lester, 30, won the World Series with the Red Sox in 2007 and 2013. The lefthander has a 3.58 ERA in nine seasons. Lester has a 2.57 ERA in 14 postseason games (12 starts). DEAL: White Sox sign closer David Robertson to a four-year, $46 million deal. Robertson, a 29-year-old righthander, had a 3.08 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 39 saves for the Yankees in 2014. DEAL: Braves sign infielder Alberto Callaspo to one-year, $3-million deal. Callaspo, 31, is a .267 hitter with a .330 OBP and 51 home runs in nine seasons with the Diamondbacks, Royals, Angels and Athletics. He's played every position except pitcher, catcher and center field. DEAL: Diamondbacks trade catcher Miguel Montero (pictured) to Cubs for pitching prospects Zack Godley and Jeferson Mejia. Montero, 31, was a .264 hitter with a .342 OBP and 97 home runs in nine seasons with the Diamondbacks. Godley, a 24-year-old righthander, has a 2.74 ERA and 11.5 strikeouts per nine innings in two minor league seasons. Mejia, a 20-year-old righthander, has a 2.57 ERA and 9.4 strikeouts per nine innings in two minor league seasons. DEAL: Pirates sign starter Francisco Liriano to a three-year, $39 million deal. Liriano, a 31-year-old lefthander, had a 3.38 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 29 starts for the Pirates in 2014. He struck out 175 in 162.1 innings. DEAL: Athletics trade pitchers Jeff Samardzija and Michael Ynoa to the White Sox for infielder Marcus Semien, pitcher Chris Bassit, catcher Josh Phegley and infielder Rangel Ravelo Samardzija, a 29-year-old righthander, had a 2.99 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 33 games for the Cubs and A's in 2014. Ynoa, a 22-year-old righthander, has a 4.81 ERA in four minor league seasons. Semien, 23, has hit .240 with a .293 OBP and eight home runs in 85 games. Phegley, 26, is a .207 hitter in 76 games. Ravelo, 22, is a .301 hitter with a .368 OBP in five minor league seasons. Bassit, a 25-year-old righthander, had a 3.94 ERA in six games (five starts) in 2014. DEAL: Diamondbacks sign third baseman/leftfielder Yasmany Tomas to a six-year, $68.5 million deal. Tomas defected from Cuba in 2014 and is entering his first season in MLB. DEAL: Athletics trade first baseman Brandon Moss (pictured) to the Indians for second base prospect Joe Wendle. Moss, 31, hit .234 with a .334 OBP and 25 home runs in 2014. Wendle, 24, is a .292 hitter with a .357 OBP and 28 home runs in three minor league seasons. DEAL: Cubs sign starter Jason Hammel to two-year, $20 million deal. Hammel, a 32-year-old righthander, had a 3.47 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 30 games (29 starts) for the Cubs and A's in 2014.
