The Jets may be 2-7, but star running back Le’Veon Bell believes Gang Green can still finish strong.

In an interview with amNewYork Tuesday, Bell said that “doing all the little things right” will help the Jets salvage its remaining seven weeks of the regular season.

Some of those little things that Bell discussed were not having explosive plays called back on hands to the face and holding penalties, which the running back called “self inflicted wounds.”

“As long as we continue to do that we should be fine and continue going up,” Bell said, also stressing that players need to stick with assignments more throughout games.

Bell spoke with amNewYork at a promotional event in Manhattan, a day before the Jets ownership reasserted their faith in head coach Adam Gase amid widespread criticism from fans and the media over the team’s putrid first half of the 2019 season.

Bell also said that the Jets most recent win over the New York Giants was the team’s “most consistent and cleanest game,” which came with bragging rights as to which squad owns NYC this year.

Quarterback Sam Darnold impressed the star the running back with week 10 victory after a few less than dynamic showings in prior games.

“He bounced back with a great game against the Giants,” Bell said, noting how this is the first time he’s professionally played with a young, developing quarterback since his prior offensive chief was the seasoned Steeler and Super Bowl champion, Ben Roethlisberger.

“I’ve really been watching him grow,” Bell said about Darnold’s progression.

Two days after the Jets defeated the Giants, Bell spent Nov. 13 spreading the love throughout NYC—in the form of $26,000 in cash.

Teaming up with Pepsi, Bell rode around in a golden, armored car shelling out the cold hard bills to promote the brand’s new PepCoin, cash back loyalty program.

“I’ve been in that situation to have to make a payday,” he said, continuing to mention how great it felt helping everyday New Yorkers to do the same on a chilly, windy afternoon in Hudson Yards — plus his ride in was pretty sweet, too.

“I’ve never been in anything like it,” he said.

The Jets will look to make it two wins in a row this Sunday, Nov. 17, when they face Washington on the road. Although Bell was limited in practice this week due to ailments, he’s expected to play Sunday.
