Thanks to the Chargers organization for the opportunity to make a new home.” In San Diego, he’ll be paired with eight-time Pro Bowler Antonio Gates. Cumberland signed with the Jets after going undrafted in 2010 and caught 86 passes for 1,119 yards and 10 TDs in 65 games. He had five receptions (on 14 targets) for 77 yards and no touchdowns last season. The Jets saved $1.9 million in salary-cap space when they released the 28-year-old last month. By Kimberley A.
