The Mets’ series opener against the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday has been postponed because of rain, the team announced.
The game has been rescheuled for Tuesday at 4:10 p.m. as part of a single-admission doubleheader ahead of the originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. game, which will now begin apporximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
Noah Syndergaard will start the first game and Bartolo Colon will start the second game, the Mets announced.
Fans with tickets to Monday night’s game may not use that ticket, but they can exchange them for seats comparable in price and location to Tuesday’s doubleheader, subject to availability.
