Bogdanovic, now in his sophomore season, will join the Latvian sensation on the World Team as part of the Rising Stars Challenge. He, Porzingis, the Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins and seven others will take on the U.S. Team headlined by Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell. Bogdanovic, who, despite the Nets’ woes, has improved almost across the board in his second year in the league, is averaging 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 46 games this year. Bogdanovic scored 16 points for the World team in a winning effort last year, held on his home court at the Barclays Center. He’s the fourth Nets player to play in the challenge in both eligible years, joining Mason Plumlee, Brook Lopez and Kenyon Martin. The Rising Stars Challenge will be held Feb. 12 in Toronto.
