The New York Yankees continue their busy month of May with a trip down to Maryland to face their AL East rival, the Baltimore Orioles. The Bombers have been one of Baseball’s best teams this season and just had a six-game winning streak snapped after winning 11 straight.

The four-game set will be the third time that the Orioles and Yankees face each other in the young baseball season. New York lost the first series, falling 2-1 and 5-0 in the first and third games, but swept Baltimore at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees outscored the Orioles 25-15 in the three-game set. The Orioles will travel to the Bronx the following week. Going into Sunday’s slate of games, New York had a stranglehold on the AL East and the Orioles trailed the top spot in the division by 10.5 games.

The Pick:

Right now everything just seems to be going the New York Yankees way. Even when they hit a rough patch they seem to find a way to turn things around. Picking against the Bombers just doesn’t seem to be a practical move, especially against a Baltimore team that has continued to struggle, especially against the Yankees. New York has won all but two games against the Orioles and they always feel right at home at Camden Yards.
