This did not come as a surprise, given that the Yankees are part owners of the team and that its home games initially will be played at Yankee Stadium. Games also will be streamed live via Fox Sports GO for viewers whose providers have streaming deals with YES. (Cablevision, which owns Newsday, has such an agreement.) The streaming option is important, as there will be times NYCFC games conflict with those of the NYY baseball team. YES might find a broadcast channel home for soccer when such conflicts arise and/or it could show some soccer games on a delayed basis.
