Odell Beckham Jr. may have made the play of the year, but it was more than that which earned him Rookie of the Month.

The Giants' first-round pick was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for November after leading the NFL - all players, not just rookies -- with 118.6 receiving yards per game and becoming the first rookie with at least 90 receiving yards in five games in a single month.

Obviously, that last part relies on a quirk in the calendar, but his numbers for the five games in November were pretty impressive.

Beckham recorded 38 catches for 593 yards in November. After missing the first four games of the season, he has 48 receptions for 699 yards and five touchdowns.

He's on pace to shatter the Giants' rookie record for receiving yards, set by Jeremy Shockey with 894 in 2002.

He could approach the rookie record for receptions by a Giant, also set by Shockey in 2002 with 74.

Beckham is the second Giants wide receiver to win Offensive Rookie of the Month honors. The other was Hakeem Nicks in October 2009.
