Cosmos in Cuba

The New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League (NASL) traveled to Havana, Cuba, for an exhibition soccer match on June 2, 2015, against the Cuban national team. The Cosmos won, 4-1.

The Cosmos are the first U.S. pro team to visit the island since the Baltimore Orioles in 1999 and the first for pro soccer since the Chicago Sting in 1978.
