Early in his match against Diego Schwartzman, there was an announcement at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center that Armstrong was filled to capacity. As of 6 p.m., Nadal was leading Schwartzman, 7-6, 6-3 heading into the third set, and there was still no entry or re-entry allowed. At 6:10 they began letting spectators in from a lengthy line.
