Staff Pick Standings after Week 3
The story of the week is Nick vaulting into first place after a 9-5-1 week. Nick was the only one on the staff who had the Falcons and one of only two writers to pick the Panthers, Lions, and the Jaguars. Nick has been vocal in his support of Jacksonville, predicting the Jaguars are going to the playoffs this year, so it’s nice to see his support rewarded.
The only other writer who picked Jacksonville, Detroit, and Carolina this week was Eric, who went 9-6 and finished just behind Nick. Eric was also one of two writers to pick the Titans to cover, but he was also the only writer on the staff who backed Washington, which did not work out well for him.
Christian had a rough week, going 5-10 and falling from first place on the season. He was the only writer to back the Patriots, which didn’t go his way, but he joined Eric in picking the Titans, which helped to make up some ground.
Aidan finished third on the week, going 7-7-1. He was one of only two writers to back Miami and was the only person on the staff who believed in Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to cover against Tampa Bay.
While Joe finished last this week, and remains last on the season, he was the only writer to pick Denver this week, so he has that going for him.
