The rookie was hit in the head by Eduardo Nuñez's line drive on Monday night. He was led from the field with a bloody towel pressed against his face. The 24-year-old righthander was evaluated and released from New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Monday night. He suffered a "small nasal fracture." Veteran lefthander Chris Capuano and righthander were called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Righthander Caleb Cotham was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
