A hilarious show telling one woman’s story about her breast cancer diagnosis and journey to overcome the disease is hitting the stage in Manhattan with a Tony Award-winning cast.

The show, called “Nice T!ts,” will come to the Triad, located at 158 West 72nd St., at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24. This special celebrity reading of the play will feature cast members from the award-winning Broadway show “Hadestown.”

Written and created by Amy Marcs, who also stars in the show, “Nice T!ts” tells Marcs’ story about her journey as a breast cancer survivor. The show, normally a solo show, will feature Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer, Kimberly Marable, Jessie Shelton, and Kim Steele, all of whom have starred in the hit musical “Hadestown.”

“I needed to write this story about hope, love, and the resiliency of the human spirit, as well as our capacity to triumph over adversity even in the most traumatic of situations,” said Marcs. “Comedy is a powerful vehicle to share stories that may otherwise be hard for people to digest. It allows you to take the uncomfortable and make it comfortable. Laughter is and always will be the best form of therapy.”

Tickets are on sale at www.triadnyc.com. Additional performances will take place at the Triad on March 30 and April 20.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Actors Fund’s Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative.
