City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer invited MTA Transit President Veronique Hakim to host a town-hall meeting at the Sunnyside Community Services at 43-31 39th St. at 6:30 p.m. The councilman said commuters have grown frustrated with the line’s lackluster service, especially with the numerous shutdowns during the weekend. Those who can’t make the meeting can send their questions and concerns via Twitter using the hashtag #AsktheMTA.
