NYC women’s march traffic guide: Manhattan street closures and times

Women (and men) took to the streets of Manhattan on Saturday for the third annual Women’s March on NYC.

Thousands of people attended the march in midtown, which began around 11 a.m. In 2018, the crowd was estimated to be over 200,000, officials said.

The march route begins at Columbus Circle and ends at Sixth Avenue and 44th Street, organizers said, which means several streets in the area will be shut down to vehicular traffic for a few hours.

If you absolutely must drive through midtown Saturday afternoon, here is a list of streets you should avoid due to shutdowns by the city.
