'Star Wars' costume exhibit opens in NYC

In time for the hype leading up to the Christmas release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the exhibit "Star Wars and the Power of Costume: The Exhibition" opens at the Discovery Times Square in New York City on Saturday, Nov. 14.

R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca and Leia's metal bikini are on display, among other iconic costumes and props.

This duo certainly needs no introduction. The costume for the Wookie Chewbacca, as worn by Peter Mayhew in the classic trilogy and the classic black-and-white vest motif of Han Solo as worn by Harrison Ford in in "Return of the Jedi," including the gun which shot first.
