MTA police officers Luis Alvarez and Errold Borges rescued a stray dog from the electrified train tracks in Harlem on April 8, 2014, after the pup (later named Tie) was spotted trotting along the tracks for a mile and a half. The dog is temporarily with Animal Care and Control.
