Police need the public’s help in finding a gun-toting man who tried to rob a livery cab driver at a Brooklyn intersection last month.

The NYPD released on March 1 video footage of the perpetrator behind the Feb. 11 incident, which occurred at 4 p.m. at the corner of Kings Highway and East 41st Street in Flatlands.

Law enforcement sources said the 63-year-old male victim drove the suspect from the intersection of Flatbush and Church Avenues to the location in question.

Upon pulling up, police noted, the suspect got out of the vehicle, then approached the driver, displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. Authorities said the cab driver ignored the request and drove away.

The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction without any property, police noted.

The incident was reported to the 63rd Precinct.

Police said the video footage shows the suspect shortly after the robbery walking into a grocery store near the corner of Kings Highway and East 41st Street.

The NYPD described the failed robber as a black man between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing all dark clothing.
