Crooks threaten pharmacy employee with screwdriver while trying to steal bleach in Manhattan

Cops are looking for three crooks who robbed a Manhattan pharmacy on Sunday night.

According to police, at 8:30 p.m. on April 19, a 41-year-old male employee at Gristede’s Pharmacy, located at 225 9th Avenue, when an unknown man entered the store and tried to take bleach without paying for it. When the suspect was stopped by the employee, two other unknown men entered the store and threatened him with a screwdriver.

The suspects then fled the scene northbound on 9th Avenue. There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
